Pip

The short version

  • Pip stores what it needs to coach you and track your game nights. Nothing more.
  • Pip never holds or moves your money. Payment buttons open your own Venmo, PayPal or Cash App.
  • We don’t sell your data.
  • Some pages show one ad from Google, which keeps Pip free.

What Pip stores

  • Your account: email, username, name, and a securely hashed password.
  • Your coaching: your onboarding answers, the drills you play and how each decision was graded.
  • Game nights: who played, buy-ins, cash-outs, results and settle-up payments. Names you add for friends without the app are stored too.
  • Payment info you add: your Venmo, PayPal.me, Zelle or Cash App handle. Never card or bank numbers.
  • Basic technical data: sign-in cookies so you stay logged in, and server logs to keep Pip running.

Who can see what

  • Friends see your username, name and the game nights you share.
  • Everyone in a game night sees its buy-ins, cash-outs and results.
  • Your payment handles are only shown to people who owe you money after a game night.
  • Your drill history and “Pip noticed” insights are private to you.

Ads

To keep Pip free, a few pages (Home, Results, Game nights and session reviews) show one ad, below everything else. Ads never appear during onboarding, while you’re answering a drill, or on a live game night screen.

Ads are served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies to choose and measure ads. If you’re in the EU, UK or Switzerland, Google asks for your consent first. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Gambling ads are turned off.

Your choices

  • Change your name and payment handles any time in Settings.
  • To delete your account and data, email us and we’ll do it within 30 days. Game night records you shared with friends stay in their history, with your name removed.
